Digital painting based on the film adaptation of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

This poster is based on the movie Fido.

This is based on an old "Rules of the Inn" sign that you can see hanging in a lot of pubs and taverns. I changed it from an Inn to a Public House, and named it "O'Toomee Tavern" after my last name.

"And then, something happened. I let go. Lost in oblivion. Dark and silent and complete. I found freedom. Losing all hope was freedom."
I ultimately went with "is freedom" because I think it fits better in this context. This is the first in a line of planned Fight Club posters and art.

Second in my Fight Club series of film posters. This one is obviously done in a "Saul Bass" style.

I MUST HAVE THIS!
Good stuff, I like the O'Toomee Tavern one especially.

Ya know, they made a bad sequal to that movie, and I guess are making another one...

The sequel was direct-to-video, for obvious reasons. I'm sure this next one will be as well. Nothing can top the original.
[start confession]
I didn't even like the original that much.

It's not for every one.

I actually really dislike it, personally, and I wouldn't even call it a confession to be perfectly honest. But different strokes for different folks and all that.

This is a mural I did. I also did a poster for each character with my favorite quotes. You can see those on my etsy, or at greymatter.me.
Nice job on that series, Mike.... really well done on the faces. They look just like the actors!
Yeah I actually have gotten to love doing faces. Hair I'm still getting the hang of. It can be a pain sometimes. I didn't set out to do it, but now that I look at them, I think I really nailed that Rockstar/GTA art style.
Definitely reminds me of that now that you mention it. Well done! :)
