Probably one of my favorite websites ever. Will WE ever see it? no. Will our kids? probably not. But here is an idea which touches on all the problems we face in the way we live and the lifestyles we choose. People call me stupid for liking it, but I truly think this would be a better way to live, if someone could snap their fingers and everyone went, ok lets do it. There is to many people out there scared of changed.

P.S:  the reason i post all this stuff is just to get some activity on the boards. Its discussion pieces. You get to argue pros and cons with someone who most likely lives a far way away from you, and lifestyles have varied very much so.

Mad Dog

Just a lot of current stuff that goes on everywhere put into flowery words.

At first I thought it was a Greenie thing but then I began to read about social problems and how to fix them.

Hello?  We do all this through sociologist and economists.  Particularly a combination of the two because the sociologists will examine how people relate to each other given particular incentives and look at it from an emotional rationale.  Economists look at how people react to incentives in somewhat of a mathematical model given scarce resources.

Economists don't just look at money.  Money is only of value in one particular economy.
In fact economists are moving closer to sociology territory with what is now known as behavioural economics.

Beyond that I see nothing but a Star Trek driven vision of  utopia/dystopia.

It is all great material for a writer but practically useless for a pragmatist.
