check out my new banner. Turned out alright, but its definetly still a work in progress. i need to clean up around the shoulder where i did a shitty job of extracting the photo and i need to reduce the glow somehow at the base but i dont know how. I cant turn off the inner glow because then it shows the poor quality of the picture around the head, but i cant think of another way to reduce that overwelming glow at the base.

Feedback and suggestions? gracias folks.

That thing is gi-normous. 

I take a less is more approach with my banners, at least relatively.  This is also partly because I use Paint.NET and not Photoshop, but yeah, that's just me.

It's not bad, Sean, I mean, like you said, the glow is a little off and I'm not a fan of the lower case i's (you're also missing a second pair of quotation marks), but overall not bad at all.

Yeah jesus that thing is tall. lol.  I try not to go more than 250, 300 px tall with mine.  Widescreen, baby.  Just like the movies.

Hahaha last fed i was in everyone had these ridiculously complex banners which were just ridiculous. Like twice as big as mine. I will probably reduce the size of the mafucka too on my edit of it.

bit of a cheat to take focus off the glow. Fixed the typo's Mr I go to school to learn how to write, and slimmed down on the height. Went from Yao Ming to Tyler Hansbrough.

so yeah, this fed i was in, i had some of the more toned down banners. Look at this ahha.
feel free to critique, i got tough skin. I survived fedding with mike when i was 16 i can survive anything



The forums at the other place where a light-ish blue so the base of this one didnt look like such garbage.



I finally got some gold around Ramones waist. Funny thing was, as soon as i won the world championship, i had to quit to do a bunch of family problems so made me look like a really swell guy.

Just kidding, Sean.  Honestly, don't love the first one, it's just overdone and too, idk, sparkly.  The second i okay, but still glow-y, but I like the spots of light effect and all that.

you are relying way too much on the glow to draw attention to the text... not always a necessity. Otherwise, looking good.
