...as oppose to concept art, since i actually drew none of this.  But I've messed around with Paint.NET to create some banners for characters I'm creating in Ennis's universe.  They both made their debuts in my last Rp.  I'll probably never use them, but they were fun to make and made me think about the chars more.  anyway, comments?  thoughts?  impressions?  insults?  bananas?

Paint.NET is actually a pretty solid program.  I mean, if you're a professional, Photoshop is the only way go, but for my purposes?  Paint.NET is actually a great piece of software, and it's open source, which is awesomesauce.

and as for Spiral's banner?  Pretty damn good.  I feel like it's a tad longer than it needs to be though, perhaps shave off a tiny bit of that empty space at the end?  Otherwise, excellen.  The writing is pretty fantastic as well, looks drawn into the wall.

I have this weird obsession with making my banners 16x9 like a scope film.  I'm sure it's part of my OCD.  But you're right.  There's too much empty space on the right.  Mayhaps I will fill it with something.
