A-kon 21 is in little over a month. Just got my cosplay costume in today. It's not complete I still need black boots and gold contacts and I have to get my hair fixed where it won't fall out of the wig. Costume needs a little bit of alterations done for the proper length but here are some pics my hubby took just when I was trying it on:

  Hair cap ok will do. I was just gonna cut my hair because it's super hot now in the good ole stupid South but that could work too.

I have no idea who Edward Elric is, but the costume looks like the picture, so great job ^_^

   i hope i do that's the point of it but i know i won't look like a cartoon just by dressing up seeing as i lack the animation part. i've just always wanted to be a cosplayer and this is my first real attempt outside of halloween.

I dunno, that looks like a pretty straightforward costume, as in the people who know who Edward is should get it easily. One time I did 2D from Gorillaz for Halloween... now that was one case where you really, really need the animation for people to get it! One of my lecturers was at the same party and dressed as Buffy (apparently I was one of like three people all night to actually get that). That was kinda weird, depsite the fact she's only five years older than me or something.

and as cited in a threadican'tfrickinfindnow, i'm still going as The Boss from Metal Gear Solid 3.  though my costume's not here yet.  dammit... where am i gonna find white boots to go with that...

If anyone goes, "Never forget who is the boss of you. ME! I am the boss of you. I! AM! THE BOSS! OF YOU! I AM THE BOSS OF YOU!" in a kinda singsong way, then they're referencing Zork Grand Inquisitor. That's the 'boss' quote that jumps into my head anyway XD Along with the line from Oscar - "Don't call me boss!" "Sorry, boss."
